Advance Election 2010
Advance elections are taking place for the roles of Area Representatives and NEC Representatives. Elections are set to run up to 12.00 noon on Friday, 23 July 2010 (the date by which all nomination forms must be received at the Advance office).
If you would like to put your name forward for nomination, please contact Gerry Moloney at the Advance office: Gerry will send an information pack to you which will include a Nomination Form, a précis of what is involved in the role that you wish to stand for nomination for, a copy of the Advance Constitution and Rules (which states the rules of the election) and a business reply envelope to return your completed form in.

Important Changes to your pension arrangements
We have uploaded onto this site this morning (15th May) a copy of a special edition of the Advance News relating to some important changes to the range of final salary and stakeholder pension schemes offered across the various businesses.
It had been agreed that these changes would be communicated to members from next week. However, due to a series of calls that have taken place within the company today, we have been left with no choice but to communicate these changes to you earlier.
You will each receive an individual copy of this Advance magazine in the coming days, followed by a letter from Abbey concerning the arrangements for each of you individually.
The text in the magazine and your letter from Abbey will give details of the process undertaken so far, the proposed changes and an explanation of the consultation arrangements.
